There is so much music that doesn't always reach the air. This is a selection of music that might not have been played so regularly, but is definitely worth playing. Enjoy!

Glen is new and welcome member of the team presenting the Sunday morning early breakfast show. "The early morning lie in" "I started as a DJ from the age of 8, I know!! My brother was a DJ at a local club, so when the teacher asked for a school disco, My hand went up! “I’m your man” teacher said “Great” win win for me as I so fancied my teacher I turned up with my valve record player and home made disco lights, and a star was born LOL I was around 10 when I was asked to do some interviews for the local radio station, fame at last! But it wasn’t until I became a full time DJ at 18 that I could hone my radio skills. At about 19 I met up with a Local Radio DJ Bobi Maclennan when he took me under his wing and I did some exceptionally late night radio shows, around 2am! I bobbed about on Local radio stations when I eventually got a full time afternoon show. Stayed there for a while and moved to the breakfast show over in Aberdeen. After a short time of Breakfast shows and DJing at night, I returned to host the biggest evening show in the UK, and the launch of the text to show averaging over 2500 texts in 3 hours every night. I moved to central Scotland to, at that time, the number one station. I stayed with Real Radio but also started working in Middlesbrough on Traffic and Travel and covered most BBC stations from Leicester to Carlisle. Once again another move to National Smooth Radio. But I resurrected the Shindigs 80s & 90s Dance party, and finally the top spot on Sunshine Radio. I’m currently also a Drummer for a band now based in California, and have just returned from a short Tour in the states". So looking forward to the ‘Early morning Lie In’  

Howard brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to Sunshineradioonline and has interviewed some of the most famous celebrities in the music industry. A varied selection of classic tracks accompanied by recent releases.

Trevor is one of the founding “Amigos” of Sunshine Radio Online – he looks forward to setting up live outside broadcasts in the future – he is very “hands on” with the day-to-day running of the station – and has so far managed, in his many trips around the UK – to do a live show from almost every County!

Being a fan of music & radio from a young age led to Andy being involved in hospital radio, which in turn led to a career working in commercial radio & being a DJ in pubs & night clubs. The first record Andy bought was the Boy from New York City by Darts – which he bought from the bargain bin in Woolies! Andy admits to owning a copy of The Very Best of the Wombles on vinyl – and he has a secret passion for Jaffa cakes. But don’t tell anyone that! Oh, and then there's Curly Wurly's as well. Tilly has been a consultant to many companies in the music business over the years and even had his own column in Music Week at one time. Nowadays Tilly controls his successful digital music company from his home, and in his spare time is back with his love for listening to and playing Doo Wop and Rock’n'roll records – Tilly has a formidable collection of this genre of music and an equally formidable knowledge of the music he is so passionate about. Tilly has been with Sunshine Radio Online since it started in November 2021.

The 208 Top 20, which recreates those Radio Luxembourg Chart shows, spanning the 208 Years of 1951 – 1992, can now be heard on Sunshine Radio Online. The show is unique amongst “retro chart shows” in that it is presented “In The Now”, as if you have gone back to that year and are listening once again to 208, with the original jingles and commercials alongside the hits of the day! A new feature is that listeners are invited to vote for which years they can hear the following week!

Peter is a successful businessman in his native Germany – he lives in Cologne and says his interest in Radio and music is a result of being a keen listener to Radio Luxembourg in his teens – this led to Peter working in the “WOM” (World of Music) Mega record store, and from there moving into club management. Paul is currently the host of the Groove Connection on Fridays on Sunshine. The show cuts across many genres of music and showcases the legendary music and artistes of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with a dash of contemporary music for good measure.
