There is so much music that doesn't always reach the air. This is a selection of music that might not have been played so regularly, but is definitely worth playing. Enjoy!

James presents our weekday breakfast show on Sunshine Radio Online. The show has a mixture of great music and humour with opportunities to get involved in various competitions that test your musical knowledge and brain. In the early 1990’s he was shown around GWR in Bristol and soon became involved as a technical operator. He was also out and about on roadshows and outside broadcasts and would pop up on air from time to time before becoming a Flying Eye Traffic reporter with regular Breakfast and Drivetime reports for GWR in Bristol, Bath and Swindon along with Classic Gold and the occasional guest appearance for traffic on Talk Radio and Virgin 1215. One notable broadcast being with Classic Gold to celebrate the Second Severn Crossing where a live broadcast was made during a walk across the bridge ahead of the opening.

Having worked in Network Radio and TV producing a host of some of the most popular shows on British TV and radio, he’s just getting round to achieving his other ambition of hosting his own radio show, playing many of the favourite songs and bands he’s avidly collected since those teenage years. “I love a pretty eclectic mix of music, but if I had to pick, I guess Soul and R and B would be my sweet spot”.

Being a fan of music & radio from a young age led to Andy being involved in hospital radio, which in turn led to a career working in commercial radio & being a DJ in pubs & night clubs. The first record Andy bought was the Boy from New York City by Darts – which he bought from the bargain bin in Woolies! Andy admits to owning a copy of The Very Best of the Wombles on vinyl – and he has a secret passion for Jaffa cakes. But don’t tell anyone that! Oh, and then there's Curly Wurly's as well. A few years ago Terry decided to get back into the thing he loves the most – radio. He was chosen to present the early breakfast show each weekday morning on the legendary Radio Caroline, and became the presenter of the weekly Retro Charts countdown show, which could be heard each week right here on Sunshine Radio Online. Terry can now be heard early afternoon hosting a show that brings back some of the best memories in radio along side some very interesting tracks that are not heard so often. Jan is our Danish DJ – he started his radio journey in the 80s on Radio Viborg (at that time, Denmark’s most popular station) – he then joined Radio Skive for three years before being tempted to return to Radio Viborg. In 1999 Jan moved to Radio Alfa – and in 2004 (are you keeping up with the musical chairs here?) Jan returned to Radio Skive – and has settled there – he’s still a regular presenter.

Trevor now takes the reigns of the late afternoon show on SunshineRadioOnline having delivered his Afternoon Delights show for many months and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and style. Some new features to be found on Trevor's new show for everyone to get involved in: Three from When? Five to Six. Today's Ditty. What's in the pot? Enjoy! Trevor has worked for some of the top UK clubs keeping the dance floors full – he has also worked with Metro, Radio Tay, Northside, and City Radio. Trevor joined UDJ as Group Director and is one of the founding “Amigos” of Sunshine Radio Online.  He looks forward to setting up live outside broadcasts in the future and is very “hands on” with the day-to-day running of the station. He has so far managed, in his many trips around the UK – to do a live show from almost every County!

Based in Shropshire – Nigel has a full-blown broadcast studio at home and loves to do his shows live – he enjoys seeking out the songs you don’t hear very often and has features such as “The 60s, 70s and 80s Segues” – Featured Artists – Albums – and Dance & Club classics…. As Nigel puts it – “You get a bit of everything from me”.

Over the years, Geoff has interviewed many thousands of the industry’s biggest artists – along the way he has also picked up 6 awards for his radio shows, which are heard on over 100 stations in 25 countries. Geoff’s musical tastes are “many and varied” but Rock and Soul tend to dominate.

Tony has followed the DJ craft in the Northwest of England for over 30 years. A temporary pause from the glitz and glamour of vinyl and turntables followed a move to Shropshire where Tony and his wife have a set up a successful family business – the proverbial “Day Job” which DJs rely on to allow them to follow their passion for playing music. Tony started volunteering with a local Community Radio station around four years ago. Tony is now a very welcome member of the Sunshine Radio Online team.
